"This is a story for the weirdos, the loners, the ugly ducklings." Dear Young Rocker is a raw, music-oriented, audio memoir. In this scripted, narrative podcast, listeners both laugh and empathize as our protagonist Chelsea struggles to feel cool enough to exist and finds a home in music. It's also a series of letters from older Chelsea to her younger self, reminding us all that as alone as we may have felt at that age, there's so many others out there who've felt just like us. In Season 1 we made it through high school and now the story continues in Season 2 as we navigate another time of self-discovery and trying over and over to figure out how to be ourselves. Created, written, narrated, and produced by Chelsea Ursin. Executive produced by Jake Brennan (Disgraceland). Brought to you by SPLAT Rebellious Hair Color

Angie and David Bowie: The Prettiest Star

In the summer of 1969, people all over the world were gripped by space fever in the wake of NASA’s Apollo 11 mission, which would successfully land men on the moon. She found it one evening in an up and coming singer named David Bowie, whose single “Space Oddity” was rocketing to the Number #1 spot in the UK charts. While their marriage a year later was one of convenience above all else, she would help him bring his alter ego, Ziggy Stardust, to life, and the relationship they developed was unique indeed.

Chelsea, Please🙏start another podcast so we can get more of your personality and insights. I’ve heard her as a guest on other shows and the intelligence and charisma shines through.

Insightful!!

A great narration of her adult self rooting on her younger self through her life as a musician. She brings me back to my day in the music scene that she was inspired by. Also onsite full of what it’s like being a female in the scene. Helped me see things from a different view. Excellent work!
