Attn fellow fans of the macabre: you’re not alone anymore!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Anyone that loves the macabre history of Hollywood knows how hard it is to find info and resources and friends that can nerd out on this stuff. Usually you have to track down some out of print book somewhere about one subject and it really doesn’t hit the spot somehow. This podcast on the other hand is so satisfying to the fans of curiosities and rare historical facts about the dark and dysfunctional side of Hollywood. It’s conversational, entertaining, and you feel like your two smartest and funniest friends are just hanging out with you, telling you jaw dropping stories about the people you thought you knew. I’ve taken the Dearly Departed tour in Hollywood twice and each time just felt like “man this guy is a goldmine of cool information, three hours is not nearly enough time to hear all his stories”. This podcast is such a great extension of the dearly departed experience and I’m just so happy to have found it!

Ghoulish gossip

Lots of name dropping, Los Angeles locales and snarky comments - love it.

Morbid Fun!

Binged 5 episodes of this while driving to LA. Of course each episode is full of sordid details, but what makes this pod so bingeable is the levity that Scott Michaels and Mike Dorsey add to each episode. If you enjoy this pod, then you’ll love the Dearly Departed tours that Scott runs. We just took the Helter Skelter tour and, like the pod, it’s highly recommended!
