Too much “music” behind good recordings

I have to admit that I generally enjoy this channel and listen often to the nature sounds, but lately I find myself listening to about 10sec of audio and turning it off because of the obsession with putting “music” behind some great nature audios. Maybe some people really enjoy that synthwave electronic sound laid behind a beautiful audio scape, but it triggers some depression in me and sends me on a real ride. There is also a city recording from a few months back that had an alarm going off in the background ever 5-10min that would have been perfect if not for that alarm. The alarm jarred me awake on multiple occasions, frantically looking for what was on fire or had been broken into. The same recording minus the alarm would be a nightly listen. Same with the newest release minus the synthwave. It would be on a constant rotation.
