Tackle Your Depression

Very good. Great tools that I will use. Feeling some hope.

I’m so upset .....

I’m in a bad depression right now and I was sooo excited to have found this podcast, but today I hit bottom with it. Dallas - take a page out of Alcoholic Anonymous’s playbook which is a SPIRITUAL program, NOT a religious one. It’s higher power or the “God of YOUR understanding.” You profess to want to help everyone, but when you speak of Jesus and use quotes from the bible you exclude hoards of people (some whom are Christian.) Fine to refer to your beliefs in God, but be clear that being spiritual does not pertain to a specific religion. AA honors whatever religion (or none) that one practices, in AA one’s religion is personal to the individual and is not part of the program. I have a practice of gratitude, but your approach tying it up with your Christian beliefs totally turned me off and away from you. Perhaps there are others who might feel the same.
