    Quiz for Kids' Sake will be happening in place of our annual Bowl for Kids' Sake, which was our biggest fundraiser. Like many, we've had to pivot and are looking to continue to defend the potential of our area youth.

    In this episode of Defending Potential our host Dave Kahurick sits down with our Executive Director Michelle Hamilton, who recently moved to the area to take the helm of Big Brothers Big Sisters of NEPA. Michelle's arrival coincided with Big Brothers Big Sisters of NEPA transitioning to an independent agency, moving locations, and the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn how Michelle managed the transition and helped us pivot our operations to still defend the potential of area youth during a pandemic.

    Community-based programs are integral to the work that Big Brothers Big Sisters does. This episode focuses on a new effort from BBBS NEPA in the East Stroudsburg area called Bigs in Blue. Monroe County Program Specialist Brenna Courtright, Board Member and former Big Ken Gustafson, and Stroud Area Regional Police Force Chief Jennifer Lyon discuss the new program and its potential impact in the area.
