Defining Innovation Come Rain or Shine

    • Management

We all know creation is a broad term.
The art spans thousands of occupations and captures the mindset behind new ideas.
But in the context of innovation, the advancement of creation can be hard to quantify. As Cris Beswick, Strategic Advisor and Co-Founder for OUTCOME, shares in this episode, there are ways to measure innovation maturity to generate high-value opportunities. The problem is knowing when and where to start.
For instance, in some cases, the best way to assess client care within an innovative construct is through role modeling and storytelling; in others, timely observation is the best for analysis. Regardless of the method, as Cris suggests, parameters within a “middle-out” approach must be defined. Even if progress is incremental, as long as leaders empower their employees to co-unearth solutions with their customers, improving systems and structures will have a foundation.
