In the suburbs, General Schenk’s loyal followers brutalize Black and Hispanic neighborhoods while looting the liberal elite. Millions are killed or uprooted. Survivors run to the mountains, national parks and major cities, leaving everything behind. And it is there where Haisley Jones and others must begin the fight to revive democracy.

Captain Dick's old partner suddenly appears, advising him to forget about his wife, who has been cheating on him.

I’m intrigued!
A few episodes in and I’m hooked on this thrilling story! I find myself chuckling at the satire and am intrigued by the past present and future of this character, Haisley. I also like the subtle sci-fi vibe. Looking forward to more episodes!!
