How to Check If You're Doing "ENOUGH" to Get Accepted Into Your Dream College
When trying to get accepted into your dream college, it can be hard to determine if you are doing too much, or not enough. I wanted to talk about this topic today on the podcast because it’s something we get asked so often by our students. In this episode I’m going to give you 3 ways that you can access whether you are doing enough, and share how to overcome some of the common pitfalls students often face in the college admission process

3 Strategies To Beat the Competition
It’s been awhile since I’ve sat down to record a solo episode, as I’ve been featuring a lot of amazing interviews and conversations on the podcast lately. Today I want to talk about something that so many students and parents worry about, and that is competition. When it comes to The Ivy League and top-tier college admissions process, the acceptance rate is so low that it’s easy for you to have the mindset that it’s all about the competition. It also leaves you wondering if it’s even worth it to apply, so I’m going to give you 3 strategies in this episode that can help you no longer feel so stressed out and overwhelmed about the competitive process.

My student is interviewing ME!
You may have noticed the new intro and music at the start of this episode, and the purpose, mission and structure of this podcast is also shifting a bit. Moving forward we’re going to focus more on how mindset and mental health is going to help you get accepted into your dream college, and my goal is to help students live a healthier and more passionate life. I’m going to be also interviewing a lot of my past and current students inside my paid program, as well as coaching them and recording the session for the purpose of sharing the insights on this podcast, which I can’t wait to share with you.
Today’s episode is unique in that one of my students, Maddy, is interviewing me. One of her passion projects is her podcast, Simply Empowered, where she talks about mental health, education and many things that interest teenagers today. Today you’ll hear my appearance on Maddy’s podcast, which I’m super excited about because you’ll listen to us cover a ton of topics such as college admissions, college application essays, mindset and so much more!

Why my students decided to work with me
For today’s episode I’m excited to be interviewing two students of my 6-month college consulting program, The Ivy League Formula! Brianna just completed the program and Natalie is currently a student, and these amazing young ladies both share why they decided to say “Yes” to enrolling in the program, any hesitations they had before doing so, and some of the big results they’ve been able to create in their college admissions process so far.
A lot of parents and students wonder who they will work with as they approach the process, and they are looking for support, accountability, strategies and resources to help them on this journey. The Ivy League Formula is closed until 2021, but I highly recommend that you join me for my free masterclass, where I’ll teach you the 4 mistakes that you must avoid in the college admissions process, as well as the 4-step process you can implement right away to create a stand out factor in your application and up level your college admissions portfolio. How my student landed an extraordinary opportunity using his Passion Project
In today’s episode of Demystifying College Admissions, I’m bringing you a conversation I had with an incredible student on mine named Richie. Richie is a freshman in the 9th grade who decided to “just do it” and go all-in on his passion project, Teens Against Racism. He reveals how he got this passion project off the ground, and the significant accomplishments the organization has received already - in less than one month.
I wanted to share Richie’s success story with you so that you can learn more about how to step up, and level up your college admissions game. His story is so inspiring, and it proves that anything is possible for you too.

5 factors of success
I love this episode! Other podcasts talk about the mechanics of the college process, but I so agree with you that the student’s mindset is the most important factor. I sent this to my daughter. You articulated this better than I could. Thank you!
