Welcome to Majors & Minors at Cal Poly Humboldt!
This show takes a close look at the rich academic offerings of our campus and all of the areas of study that can be pursued as a student. Each episode features an interview with a department Chair or a Professor and focuses on the specifics of an area of study and the value of that pursuit both inside the college experience and beyond.
This week, Dr. Monty Mola of the Department of Physics & Astronomy joins the show to discuss all that is going with gravity (turns out, quite a bit), the curriculum and activities happening on campus and what it means to be a physicist right now.
We laughed and contemplated and it was a really wonderful conversation.
The Department of Physics & Astronomy is housed inside the College of Natural Resources and Sciences. You can read more about it here. You can email Monty Mola @ monty.mola@humboldt.edu
