DFTW 30 - How is my insecurity impacting others?

DFTW 30 - How is my insecurity impacting others?

On Episode 30 of the DFTW Podcast -Host Michael Head discusses what it looks like to have a healthy dose of insecurity, and how your insecurity may be impacting you and those that you love.

A person who believes they are always right and who does not look at themselves because they feel they have it all together, rarely experience conscious insecurity or self-doubt.

However, deep down and under a shield of crazy defense mechanisms, this person actually feels very small. Painfully small.

Humility, vulnerability, and mild insecurity are qualities that allow a person to grow and love in a healthy way.

DFTW 29 - What is difference in Service & Emotional Support dogs & whats the point?

DFTW 29 - What is difference in Service & Emotional Support dogs & whats the point?

Many think that emotional support animals and service dogs are interchangeable, but these two types of service animals are meant for separate tasks. A service dog is specially trained to perform a function or job for an owner that has a physical, intellectual, or emotional disability. An emotional support animal serves as more of a companion for the owner.

So many questions about service dogs vs emotional support vs therapy dogs, I hope that this podcast will help to educate others on these different type of dogs.

DFTW 28 - Parents its time to be honest with your kids.

It's important to be real with your kids, if you want them to be real with you.  The only way you can be real with them is to be real with yourself!

Fight the urge to tell your kids what to do and not to do. Focus instead on teaching them the incredible power their choices have to shape their futures. Talk openly about choices you’ve made and what those choices created in your life. When you give them your knowledge and wisdom as an offering instead of an instruction they will be more open to receive it.

Incredible Podcast

Pastor Michael has an incredible story/testimony and I am so grateful that he shares it here. God has used these podcasts in deep & healing ways for me in a very crucial time of my life and spiritual walk. He gives clarity on mental & emotional health that I never had before. I cannot say enough about how the different episodes have touched deep parts of my heart that I didn’t know needed touching. Listening to Michael feels like I am across a table having a natural but intentional conversation about these life topics. I have laughed, cried and found healing while listening...
Thank you Pastor Michael & keep ‘em coming!
