This is the audio-only of the zero'th episode, where we just talk about the cover and dustjacket and inidicia and stuff. Yep, we're taking it reeeeallly slowwwww...

For the uh, 'best experience', head on over to the free video version here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/56769315

    [UNLOCKED] Black Lodge/White Noise

    [UNLOCKED] Black Lodge/White Noise

Marking the fifth anniversary of the death of David Bowie with a trip into the Patreon archives.
What the heck-damn happened to The Thin White Spook after he bounces out of Gordon Cole's office in Fire Walk With Me?
Although our Bob failed to predict a certain kettle-metamorphosis, the themes and method here stand up pretty well...

[UNLOCKED] The Bookhouse Bloke: What about BOB?

[UNLOCKED] The Bookhouse Bloke: What about BOB?

A free episode marking the holy week of Deep Christmas and the end of 2021. It's Mark Frost's the Secret History of Twin Peaks and the point where speculative prehistory melts into that TV show you like.

Apologies for the sound quality issues. Expect:

    • Welsh Americans, petty poets and the tiny giants of Moundville
    • The hidden illuminati plot against Merriwether Lewis
    • The oratorical genius and historical tragedy of Hinmatóowyalahtq̓it
    • Liver-Eating Leo Johnson
    • Ben Horne vs BOB

Love academia

I love how the narrators bring academic/humanities reflection into the stories instead of just recycling the fun facts abt production (which are fun, but other podcasts abt TP do that a dime a dozen). Also love the team rapport. Thanks y’all!
