    [UNLOCKED] Black Lodge/White Noise

Marking the fifth anniversary of the death of David Bowie with a trip into the Patreon archives.
What the heck-damn happened to The Thin White Spook after he bounces out of Gordon Cole's office in Fire Walk With Me?
Although our Bob failed to predict a certain kettle-metamorphosis, the themes and method here stand up pretty well...

[UNLOCKED] The Bookhouse Bloke: What about BOB?

A free episode marking the holy week of Deep Christmas and the end of 2021. It's Mark Frost's the Secret History of Twin Peaks and the point where speculative prehistory melts into that TV show you like.

Apologies for the sound quality issues. Expect:

    • Welsh Americans, petty poets and the tiny giants of Moundville
    • The hidden illuminati plot against Merriwether Lewis
    • The oratorical genius and historical tragedy of Hinmatóowyalahtq̓it

    The Waiting Room

    The Waiting Room

The town of Twin Peaks rests on a deeper landscape of red curtains, chevrons and an atmosphere of expectancy, desire and danger. What is the space that sits behind normal life, and once we’re there, how do we leave?

Bowie episode

The Jeffries-Bowie episode felt as if it were made for me and me alone. Thanks for such a thorough analysis of Bowie’s early 90s work and its relation to Jeffries (maybe the most critical character in the Peaks universe).

Top notch ‘Twin Peaks’ Pod

This show is exceptional. A great refreshing balance of reverence & self-depreciating humor. These Brits add such warm, wonderful insight into one of America’s greatest mythologies (ie Twin Peaks) — almost academic at times, and winsome & folksy at others. Love, love, love!

Can’t get enough!

I finished my first watch of Twin peaks about a year ago and then discovered this podcast.
Really insightful, fun and down to earth from this crew! I saw another reviewer describe as 300-400 level twin peaks and I agree! 100% recommend.
