Welcome to "Digital Tools, Real Life," the official podcast of WarnerBoothe. In this episode:

The Olympic Games have given us an inspiring picture of human potential. They can also guide our thinking about how we document life. For example, what happens when we focus on the tiny seeds of vision and talent just as they are beginning to appear? Or regard our tragedies as forerunners to triumph? Join us for a discussion about seeing the potential in ourselves and others, and how we capture it in the media of our lives. Featuring David Warner, founding partner at WarnerBoothe.

    Gratitude

    Gratitude

Welcome to "Digital Tools, Real Life," the official podcast of WarnerBoothe. In this episode:

You’re reading words on a screen. How? Where did the screen come from?—the glass, the metal, the boards, the wires? Who thought of how to assemble them? Who assembled them? Who wrote the words, took the pictures, created the graphics? Who figured out how to get them to your eyes? To your mind? Who taught you to read? To search? To type?

Questions like these help us notice our dependence on the genius, labor, and love of others, and not just because of our “stuff.” We need each other. Relationships matter, and relationships that are infused with gratitude make life better, both online and off.

In this episode we talk with Martha Knudson, an assistant instructor in the Positive Psychology program at University of Pennsylvania, about exercising the gratitude muscle, which helps us change the negative beliefs that can inform our thinking. We learn about savoring the good to bring about greater good, and how even when life is hard we can still be grateful. Because gratitude changes every aspect of our lives.

Where you are on the gratitude journey isn’t as important as being on the journey. Listen in to learn not only why, but how.

    Human Understanding

    Human Understanding

Welcome to "Digital Tools, Real Life," the official podcast of WarnerBoothe. In this episode:

Misunderstandings are a natural part of life, and the digital age has only compounded the problem. But technology doesn't have to be an engine of misunderstanding. In fact, by using the tools at our disposal in a more deliberate, thoughtful way, we may be on the cusp of achieving greater human understanding than we ever have. Featuring Nate Mitchell, Co-Executive Director of the Anasazi Foundation.
