The Bible describes Satan as a prowling lion who is looking for people to devour. He is relentless in his attacks against God’s people, and he hates the idea of any kind of advancement in the Kingdom of God. He will use whatever and whomever to bring about destruction. In Nehemiah 4, we see Satan’s tactics on full display as he stirs up opposition against God’s people as they continue to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Opposition to God’s work is imminent and certain. So, what can God’s people do to continue their work for the Lord while there is Satanic disturbance on God’s construction site?
