Is our current discussion and hyperfocus on 'diversity and inclusion' a REAL indication that change is happening in corporate America? Does the feminism movement belong in the workplace? Are African Americans in leadership roles as the token 'face' of diversity, or do they really have the power to make a difference? And, am I the only one wondering how white men feel about all of this? (stop rolling your eyes...)
In this podcast, I'm talking about all of the things we're secretly thinking when it comes to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. As always, I'll be adding my unconventional insights to challenge the status quo, and expand our thinking on all things DEI. You don't want to miss it!

S1E2- Tokenism Gone Wild
Corporate America, If you're going to hire or promote an African American/Black professional or anyone for that matter, make sure that they've been put through a fair and equitable process like everyone else. Your employees can tell that Joe is a "token hire", and will most likely NOT take him seriously. Your motivation for hiring decisions is key.
Sincerely,
Dr. Brandi -
S1E3- When Allyship Goes Wrong
Dr. Brandi invites listeners to join her for an episode of "So You Think You're an Ally", as she breaks down her top ten allyship #fails of Summer 2020. She talks about Democrats toting kente cloth garb, to the various arts-and-crafts projects (aka BML murals) that cities are wasting money on to show "solidarity" to Black/African Americans. This one is a doozy... To learn more about Dr. Brandi visit www.DoctorBrandi.com

S1E4- Woke Wars & Exclusionary Inclusionists
Dr. Brandi is calling out EVERYONE who claims they're fighting for inclusion while hypocritically being exclusionary themselves. Oh yes, the "woke wars" as she calls them, are in full effect and you have officially been put on notice if you've been behaving badly in the name of "equity". How about demonstrating some emotional competence? How about showing mutual respect? Those rules still apply and Dr. Brandi is calling people higher, challenging them to ditch the adult temper tantrums for active listening and critical discourse. S1E5- UnMute White People
While Instragram was designing their infamous "mute white people" emoji, Dr. Brandi created a post on LinkedIn directly asking white professionals to sit down with her to talk about all that's been going on. The experience was NOTHING like what Dr. Brandi expected. In this episode she's reflecting on her conversations with over 50 white professionals from around the world (yep, Ireland was in the building). Plus, learn about how this experience inspired her to launch the "Calling All Allies Project".

Customer Reviews
In-depth brave analysis
I haven’t seen anyone cut through the chaff like Dr Brandi. Asking deep questions that corporations don’t want to deal with. She calls out the superficial/performative displays that have flooded corporate America. Dr Brandi actually cares about helping minorities do well, and holding corporate America to account.
Thank you so much.
