Great info!
I’ve never played D&D, but I’ve listened to a few podcasts, and my husband said that he thinks I’d be a fun DM. He recommended this podcast, and I am LOVING IT. It’s not so crunchy that I get lost as a newbie, and Kyle gives great examples and ideas for setting limits and stretching boundaries. DMGI is in between seasons right now, and I’m finally caught up and ready for the next season. I plan on re-listening with a notepad to takes notes on some of what has been said. Great job, Kyle!
Exactly what I needed!
As a new DM. This is the information I was looking for. The breakdowns of the mechanics of engaging story creation is great. I realized that I had fallen into some common traps of the overly ambitious new DM. But most importantly, I have easy solutions to escape those traps thanks to the show. For the first time in my short rime behind the screen, I am feeling less overwhelmed and more confident. The benefits of listening are compounded. Clear concise and informative!
The title says it all.
I love the great ideas that come from this podcast. I have gone back to re-listen to some episodes. Get inspired.
