    Hiatus Announcement

    Hiatus Announcement

    Hey everyone,

We just wanted to inform you that due to some health issues that have come up, we will be taking a hiatus from the podcast throughout December and most likely throughout January. As of right now our intention is to return to releasing content in February of next year. We will be pausing our Patreon pledges for December and January since we cannot guarantee we will be able to release any content during this time. We want to thank everyone for their continued support for our shows, it really does mean so much to us.

Once our hiatus is over we will be picking up where Sharpened Quill and Rumble Squad left off. Sharpened Quill will be entering the city of Holimion to learn more about the gods’ disappearances only to find themselves entangled in a terrible crime. Rumble Squad meanwhile will be learning more about the Thessun Kingdom as they try and learn how and why they were teleported all the way across the continent. We will also plan to release more NPC stories including that of the Loreena Buckton-Rein, Queen of the Vremor Empire. Thar Denholm, the illusionist trickster that Rumble Squad ran out of town, and Adriel Elervir, Orik’s protege.

Thank you again for continuing to join us on our adventures and though for now we are taking a break from the podcast, we do look forward to seeing you all next time in the world of Austea.

We wanted to announce that we will be taking a hiatus from the podcast for the remainder of October and throughout November. We have had some health issues come up and just would not be able to do the podcast on top of it throughout November. We also want to thank you all for your continued support of the shows and it does mean a lot to us. We will be pausing our Patreon pledges for November due to us not releasing content.

An Epic DnD Podcast

I have followed this podcast since the beginning, and it is truly a wonder to behold. Everything from the world building to the soundtrack is completely on point. With the original Orinthal episodes being a good introduction adventure with a mix of great combat and interesting lore, it gives a good foundation for the rest of the story in Sharpened Quill and Rumble Squad. Sharpened Quill takes the intrigue parts of Orinthal and builds off it greatly, though it has its fair share of combat too. Rumble Squad focuses mainly on combat but also has a ton of lore as well. The Rules episodes give great rule advice and debate for both the novice and veteran Dungeon Master alike. The cast make their characters captivating with a combination of good backstory and great acting. Overall this podcast is definitely well worth the listen and is a great boon to players and dungeon masters of all skill levels.

Thank You for an Amazing Story!!

Thank you so much for this amazing podcast. The story line is so intricate and well thought out, and perfectly combines the backstories of all of the PCs. I absolutely love the characters, and the different dynamics in both Sharpened Quill and Rumble Squad, although Sharpened Quill is my favorite of all. I love the focus on role play, character growth, and mystery, and the detail of the backstories of Belinda, Akiva, Scriv, and Nissa, although Scriv is my absolute favorite. This podcast means so much to me, and I rely on it so much as an escape to another world. There is the perfect mix of humor and drama, fantasy and real emotions, and I really appreciate it being clean. Overall, this is the perfect podcast, and I appreciate all that it’s done for me as an escape, and I feel like I can live vicariously through you guys and your characters. I really hope all of you are healthy and recovering, and when everyone is better, I am really looking forward to the continuation of this wonderful story.

Great podcast!

This is truly a great podcast! The rules episodes are very helpful and funny! And don’t even get me started on the campaigns! Serviceable plots is an amazing story, and the characters are well played and I have to admit I almost cried at some points! Rumble squad is hilarious and the role play is some of the best I’ve heard. I know Great podcast is what everyone says, but it’s truly the only words to describe this! You should definitely give this a try. You won’t regret it!
