The trials of two parents

I just started listening to a podcasts about a year ago and I must say this one kept my listening ears on for all four episodes. I can’t wait for the last two. I can’t believe how the system let these parents down.

As a parent....

As a new mom, this is terrifying. I could barely listen to Episode 3 - it made me physically sick - hearing the mom sob, I too began sobbing. Knowing this could happen to anyone is terrifying.

Real problem is racial

I couldn’t finish the whole podcast. The only reason why this became news is because white parents are involved, but the real news is that these type of injustices happens constantly to parents of color. Why hasn’t this made news? Should I feel sorry for these white parents? Please.
