Mindset Hackers: Do you want a simple way to create more abundance in your life? Try these 2 simple practices to allow for you to step into a more expanded version of yourself.

It was June 7th of 2009, a very impactful day for me. On that day, I won my first bike race, and then later that night I was celebrating with a couple of friends and kissed my friend of 7 years who eventually became my wife.

We started dating and 2 months later I was about to compete in my next bike race and my future wife asked me if she could come watch me.

I told her she didn't need to do that. I didn't want her to have to 'go out of her way' to drive up the canyon, early in the morning, out in the cold, to watch me ride by on a bike.

She though that I didn't want her to come.

I realized that I was a poor receiver and that it was incredibly hard for me to receive help or support from others.

Looking back it was because my parents never seemed to be very interested in what I was into, which was martial arts and bike racing.

My mom has never watched me race my bike or compete. My dad showed up a few times to give me a ride to a race or competition but it was preferred if I could get a ride from someone else.

This created a feeling of unworthiness inside of me and made me feel like it was a 'hassle' to ask for help, and this is still something I work through to this very day.

This episode we'll focus on tuning up your 'asking & receiving' muscles to help you get more abundance in your life!
