    For example, when somebody works with me, either hires me privately or asked me to speak in the event, they're looking for somebody that's going to empower and motivate on it, but it's not just about being motivational. It's also about sharing logical steps to success and that is what I do.
    When my private clients work with me, we spend some time at the very beginning learning what the goals are that they want to accomplish and setting up a plan to show them how to be successful with logical steps that they should be implementing and taking in their business.
    I've worked with all types of businesses and at the end of the day, business is business. I've worked with automotive clients all the way up to real estate clients. It does not matter. When you are working on success in your business, someone that is empowering isn't just going to teach you the logical steps, but they're also going to recognize that you've got to be motivated, empowered, and recognize that sometimes you need that little extra push.

    You need to recognize that a business plan will be a big part of that success.
    Recognize how much money do you need to invest in your business at least for the first six to 12 months before you even turn a profit.

    Make sure that if there are things that you do not know about working in your business, selling in your business, or setting it up, you want to hire a team and put together people around you that know how to fill the gap in the areas that you do not know in your business. It would be great if we knew everything, but it's just not possible.

    To make money in your business and to set yourself up for success, you've got to have a plan. You want to put it into action and make sure you're working in your business every single day. Entrepreneurs, many times work way more than people that are working for somebody else that might be working nine to five.
    Why? Because we love what we do. We recognize that on the other side, there are so many advantages to owning your own business and making money.

    It depends on what type of business you're starting.
    Have you set up a business plan? Do you have a team to support? Do you recognize that it takes money to invest in your business to turn around and be successful in it?
    The rule of thumb typically is that you should have enough money set aside in either alone or your savings to get you through two years.
    It doesn't mean that you're not going to make money in those two years, but typically you're taking the money you're making in the two years of starting your business and reinvesting it back in the business.
    You could probably pull out a profit and probably make a living, but when you set yourself up recognizing that you should give yourself those two years to really focus on reinvesting in your business and being successful that is going to set you up for long-term success.
    As somebody that has opened multiple businesses, someone that has started and owned a business for 25 years, I will tell you that success does not come overnight.
    When you set yourself up for success, by setting up a business plan, building a team, recognizing that you should have money to invest in your business, and doing it right from the get-go, there is no reason why your business should not be successful and to make money.

    Number one, you want to make sure that you have the knowledge, expertise, experience, and whatever it is that you want to sell.
    People know right away if you do, or you don't, and they're going to know if you are being genuine and authentic with your experience.

    Number two, you want to make sure that you are an effective communicator, that you are actually asking questions and understanding what is it your consumer wants. Instead of just guessing what they want or assuming, that won't benefit you.
    The third thing that you want to do to be successful in sales is to recognize that building relationships is the key to selling. When you build a relationship and somebody gets to know you, trust you, like you... that in itself will help you make the sale.
    If you're doing sales correctly, the sale will almost happen on its own.

    The sales call should be the last theme that you are doing. When you focus on these steps and the sales success method that I teach and speak on, you will recognize more than anything that sales become a breeze because you're focusing on selling a service or a product that you love and you're recognizing that it really isn't about the product or the service. It's really about what that transformation or what that advantage is going to be to the consumer.

    First of all, you've got to make the decision that you want to be one. That's the first step that most people don't take.
    "I today have made a decision that I want to be a successful entrepreneur!"

    The next thing is finding someone or a team or education that is going to show you how to do that because we're not typically born with knowing how to be successful entrepreneurs. Most colleges don't even teach you how to do that.
    They teach you how to get a degree to then go get a job.
    Surrounding yourself with someone such as myself, that is a coach that knows how to help you be a successful entrepreneur is key.
    Also, you want to understand and recognize that there are other things such as setting up a business plan, having money to invest in your company, building a successful team, learning how to sell successfully, understanding the profit and loss of a business that you want to start.
    When you combine all those things together, you yourself can also become a successful entrepreneur and enjoy the financial freedoms and unlimited possibilities related to doing so.
