#16 - Co-Parenting and the Covid Vaccine with Lisa Zeiderman, Esq.

#16 - Co-Parenting and the Covid Vaccine with Lisa Zeiderman, Esq.

It has been such a stressful year; the Covid-19 virus has caused overwhelming anxiety and uncertainty not only for adults but kids, too.

I think it’s fair to say that we are all hoping the vaccine brings some level of “normalcy” to our lives and makes parenting a bit easier, as well. It hasn’t been easy saying no to my teenagers when they want to see friends, and remote learning has been a nightmare! I could go on for days…and days.

But while I’m beyond thrilled to get my kiddos vaccinated what about the thousands of people who don’t believe in vaccinating their kids? What happens when you are CO-PARENTING with an ex that is vehemently against vaccines and you are PRO?

    What do you do then?

    Can you take legal action?

We find ourselves faced with a totally new situation with this Covid-19 vaccine that can make co-parenting even more difficult!

This is why I have the best of the best on the show today to help answer all your tough questions and more!

Lisa Zeiderman is Managing Partner at Miller Zeiderman LLP. A Matrimonial Attorney, CFL, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, she regularly handles complex financial and custody divorce matters for high net worth individuals. Named a 2019 10 Best Family Law Attorney for Client Satisfaction by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys, Ms. Zeiderman is also a founding member of the American Academy of Certified Financial Litigators and a member of the panel for Attorneys for Children.

In addition to authoring a well-read blog on Psychology Today, “Legal Matters: Understanding Mental Health Issues as They Apply to Divorce and Child Custody,” Ms. Zeiderman is regularly published in various legal publications and quoted on issues ranging from financial empowerment to tax issues to child custody.

Ms. Zeiderman, a Fordham University of Law graduate, also serves on the Executive Board of Savvy Ladies, Inc., and on the board of LIFT, Legal Information for Families Today.

    Highlights of today's episode:
