Doing the Work is all about giving an inside look into the minds of musicians and artists. We give you access to the hard, unglamorous, behind the scene things that go into making art. Not the sex, drugs, and rock and roll, but the early mornings, warm-up laps, and rough drafts. If you've ever tried to be good at something then this is for you.

Passion is contageous

I can't believe one person has the capacity to emit so much kindness and interest in all of his guests! He cares so much which is extremely contagious. Not a lot of opera podcasts out there and I wasn't initially all that interested in it but passion is contageous and Matthan exudes passion! Love this cast.

Love it

Because of circumstances, I have no music community to participate in. I can’t sit around a bunch of other music students and shoot the breeze. This podcast has become my community, and listening to the conversation about the things that mean so much to me has fed my soul Thank you for being willing to do the work to put this podcast together. I hope you never stop.

A welcome addition to the opera podcasting landscape

We busted his balls a bit on my show, but I for one welcome our new podcasting overlord. Seems as if he is earnest which I no longer am. If he wants to take over my show, have him call me.
