Rich and his co-hosts, Justin & Vanessa, take turns talking about a classic horror movie and then follow-up with an episode about a later film that, in one way or another, takes that classic story and reworks it, either as an official remake or something less directly related. Topics of conversation often lean toward comparing one another but also how they stand in their own right.

*EDITOR'S NOTE: Of the first three pairs of episodes we've released of this podcast at this point (REC and Quarantine, The Wicker Man '72 and The Wicker Man '06, and Children of the Corn 1984 and this episode) this pairing was actually the earliest to be recorded. We're opting to mention this because as far as the format of the episode goes, this episode sort of represents a now bigone era of the show, as it's taken over a dozen unreleased episodes to even get to a point where we felt the show was ready to present for public consumption. Going forward, you can expect to hear episodes with the more category-focused format that our REC/Quarantine and Wicker Man 72/Wicker Man 06 episodes exemplified as opposed to our COTC episodes (especially this COTC episode which, you may find as well, is far more "info-dumpy" up top than hopefully any episode ever record in the future.

    Children of the Corn (1984)

This episode Rich, Justin, and Vanessa talk all about 1984's Children of the Corn and rate it on our Remake Bait scale. Heads up, there's a reference to not knowing what the following episode will be, but it'll definitely about at least one of the COTC remakes.
