    Gerda von Misery's first day on the job at the elite villain organiztion, Apocalypse Inc., has not gone well. Attempting to take over the company before she even underwent orientation, she finds herself ousted by the head of Apocalypse Inc., The Authoritarian, who has used her mind-reading powers to discover Dr. von Misery's greatest fear (it's public speaking)! But the evils of Apocalypse, Inc., don't end there -- they want to destroy the world; which would make Gerda von Misery's quest for world domination pretty impossible... Now, with her lab repossessed and no job options, she must reunite with her loyal hunchman-- I mean, henchman, Seymour to bring the retired superhero Captain Overman out of retirement and fight evil WITH evil!

    English adventuress Lady Victoria Ramsey returns to the aid of crown and country to assist Sarah Hayden-Carter to complete the life's work of her father, who went missing on a quest for the lost tomb of Pharoh Anhkaten! Embarking with her ertwise companions Charles Marseden-Smythe and Captain Papagiannis in tow -- they embark on a globe-trotting adventure to find the lost tomb before Professor Evangeline Godard gets there first to claim the ancient powers that lie within!

This time, the duo have found themselves on a quest to return a book to a far off library -- the only problems are: (1) the book is a talking smart aleck; and (2) the book needs to be returned to the fires of... Y'know... Down there. Along the way they'll encounter demons, monsters, and that most mythical and magical of occurrences: an open bar!

After sneaking a big scoop into the paper, she and her friend, typesetter Barney Melchic, have been exiled to Montana to review that most horrifying of all occurrences: a community Shakespeare production! Along the way she'll run into an old friend, some new enemies, and the mysterious Masked Phantom!

    Ruby Kallen wants to be a great writer -- but all her plays have closed before they opened! To make ends meet, she writes trivial questions for the terrible but popular trivia program "Quizzards," hosted by her ex-, Gordon Clifton, and his Transistor-Reliant Intellegent Victor-Indicating Automoton (T.R.I.V.I.A. for short)! On the night of the very first Quizzards Tournament of Victors, the entire cash prize has been stolen! Now Ruby and Gordon have to find the thief while still making sure their live, coast-to-coast broadcast goes off with as few hitches as possible!

But Mack has nightmares. Nightmares that have begun to intrude on his daily life; a secret from his past is waking up, threatening to ruin his world and drive him insane!
