The series chronicles events following a crowd-sourced amateur investigation into a series of animal cruelty acts, committed by the now infamous Luka Magnotta. This obsessive celebrity hopeful attempted to diminish his internet obscurity by circulating videos of himself torturing and killing kittens. As his obsession grew, his acts eventually culminated in the murder of Chinese international student Jun Lin, who Luka lured into unknowingly becoming his next internet torture video.
