Try a listen

Well researched political commentary podcast with a liberal slant, definitely worth a listen regardless of your political leaning. Turned onto it from the “My history can beat up your politics” podcast. Always excited to see when new episodes hit my feed.

Full of hyberbolic commentary

In an attempt to listen to both sides of the argument, I routinely listen. However, the show is usually about 45 minutes too long.

At least they are up front about being for socialist policies so if you want Bernie and AOC news listen to this.

I thought he had made improvements but the host just talks without saying anything constructive. A complaint without a viable solution is just whining.

Crowders little leftist brother

Downgraded the star rating on this podcast. Chris is smart and knows what he is talking about, but he is the Steven crowder of the left. His podcast took a major left turn when he lost his co-host which is ok. But, like crowder, he is loud, obnoxious, and fairly impolite. Once he stopped playing moderately, his negative qualities took center stage and it is extremely off putting.

He has an insatiable need to be heard. Like people won’t know he’s smart if he isn’t talking every 10 seconds. In the ‘black swans’ episode of my history/don’t worry, Chris constantly interrupts and talks over Bruce, just like he does with all the guests on his podcast. I came here to listen some something intelligent with historical backgrounds, and instead get an insecure adolescent constantly pulling on daddy’s pant leg for attention. Just being rude and loud, drowning out any substance he might have, just like crowder.

The description Chris makes of Ben Shapiro in the Jordan Peterson episode needs to be turned on himself. This podcast used to be good until the other guy was forced out. At that time, I recommended this podcast & on par with Bruce Carlson. Now, as Chris says of Ben Shapiro, Chris, “has a sharp mind and is capable of so much more.” In Chris’ case he was doing so much better. As the left dictates behavior and “political correctness is fascism masquerading as manners” (Dan Carlin) we need people to be objective, not jump on the band wagon. All media is the left, since you can’t work in show biz without having voted for Clinton. We don’t need more of this, and I hope Chris can return to the level of Bruce Carlson.

I have listened to this podcast for more than 2 years. I really appreciated this show for being neutral, explaining things, and not feeling alienated by their views. More and more I am feeling alienated.

I was prompted to write this review after episodes 363 on Jordan Peterson. The intro billed the episode as ‘very good’ with the guest being ‘very funny’. Then the first thing I hear her say is “these guys are d*** wads” and “why do I have to see them f***ing every where.” This really irritated me and for the first time I thought ‘I am going to hate this episode.’

I get that people don’t like Jordan Peterson and why. However, he is the only intelligent, well spoken, educated individual who can get verbally abusive SJWs to actually learn something, back up, or shut up. The insufferable pontificating of the hyper left is getting outrageous and they are passed because it takes a d*** to combat their people acting like unmutable d***s themselves. He is the best person I can respect as an intellectual fighting intelligently for more freedom. He can stand toe to toe and give raging loud mouthed communists a taste of the treatment they are giving everyone else, so of course people don’t like when their abusive behavior is reflected back at them.

This is the farthest move from neutral So far. I hope I don’t have to lower the rating if the podcast moves even farther left. But the left already owns all the media. We need the podcast to become more like it was.
