A weekly support session for our troubled times

Dopey is entertaining and therapeutic. Dave is the neurotic master of the podcast interview.

Come for the war stories, stay for the laughter and recovery.

I’ve always loved drug stories - the grittier and more depraved, the better. I found Dopey in 2016 just as I was confronting my own addiction, and man alive, did Dave and Chris deliver! These two hilarious fools kept me company and made me feel less alone. Tragically, Chris relapsed and died, and it felt like losing a friend. I’m so sad that Dave has to do the show alone now, but so grateful that he does. The show is different now - still hilarious, irreverent and fun, but also a weekly reminder that addiction doesn’t play. Dave, thank you. ❤️ (Also, hi Alan!)

I’m a 17 year old lady, I listen 2 hours a day.

I’m a 17 year old lady, I heard about this podcast on this American life. I’ve been listening almost 2 hours a day. It somehow calms my raging anxiety. This podcasts really solidifies my fear of heroine and meth. I have also learned that I have an addicts mind, which doesn’t surprise me much. Thank you Dave and Chris for being real. Also I REALLY like the song Good So Bad.
