Please, join me in this episode with my special guest Dr. Dan Black the Associate Vice President of the Brigham City Region, representing Utah State, covering the areas of Tremonton, Kaysville, and the Brigham City regional campuses.
Dr. Black, who likes to be called "Dan," discusses how he transitioned from disliking high school and particularly the subject of Math to achieving academic excellence at the college level in Math by hard work and perseverance.
He rises to become a college Chemistry teacher and the Dean of the department.
Dan explains candidly his philosophy of leadership which includes the words "We" and "Team."
He firmly believes that no goals or objectives can be achieved without the work of others.
When I posed the question, what would he leave as his legacy, or what things would he want to be remembered? He gave simple but profound words that we can all live by. "If I can be remembered for people around me spending my time, trying to be helpful, trying to be of service, and trying to improve things, I would be fine with that it would be an incredible legacy to leave.
