What Does It Actually Mean To Be Sexually Fluid?

What Does It Actually Mean To Be Sexually Fluid?

It’s not the same as being bisexual. By Claire Lampen [R]ecently, I was speaking with a friend about sexuality and labels: She has fallen in love with both men and women, and cannot quite pin down her orientation. She doesn’t feel fully lesbian and she doesn’t feel fully straight. But bisexual somehow doesn’t strike her … Continue reading "What Does It Actually Mean To Be Sexually Fluid?"

In some ways better than Dan Savage--in other ways, not.

I actually like Dr Dick's advice and content better than Dan Savage's, however --and this is a big however-- Dr Dick has this horse whinny laugh that really annoys me. I can't seem to listen to an entire show. The sound effects and sound bytes remind me of an annoying morning show on the radio. The kitsch is part of the fun for a lot of his listeners, I expect, so it is all a matter of what sort of entertainment you're looking for. He's informed, fun, occasionally witty, and sometimes his guests are interesting. He just needs to work a bit on his delivery when he's reading from a script. All in all, though, this is a really good effort for an amateur radio show.

why.

I hate u. WHy is their a podcast on SeXXx?? Do you all know how sinful this all is? I wouldn’t take this seriously if it was made a joke from some lonely kid who wants to spread the word about everything he knows about mommy and daddy bedtime!!

Dr. Dick really seems to care

Yes, Dr. Dick often has verbal slips when reading his script. His delivery doesn't quite measure up to that of some other podcasters, but that's part of his charm.

What makes this podcast work is that Dr. Dick actually seems to care about improving the sex lives of his callers, e-mailers, and listenters. One reviewer critized Dr. Dick for using common words for body parts, but he's merely using the language in a manner his audience can easily understand.

Not everyone will agree with Dr. Dick's advice, but he is positive, knowledgeable, and perceptive.
