    Today's Angel Card Word of the Day is "Obedience," "follow your deepest impulse with discipline and decisiveness." We start this episode with a quote: "The universe is putting forth maximal effort to create this moment, why would you want to change that?"  This is a lesson on presence which can be one of the biggest obstacles to overcome for humans. There is a negative connotation to one's ego but Ego is a part of the human experience and feeling present in your NOW moment; this can be a constant battle for many. Thought is the enemy of presence and awakening because we get lost in these thought storms and the stories we tell ourselves about the present and future. If you are not thinking about the past or future, where is it? It is only the NOW that is present and this moment is all we have, remove ourselves from suffering to stay present. When you allow yourself to identify with these thoughts, it can take you away from presence, change your thoughts to align with the NOW moment that you would like to be in. Do not allow our vibrations to dissipate as thought gets in the way, make sure to "and" these thoughts rather than "or." The "or" can take us away from the present moment. Meditation helps hone in on presence. Ask those unanswerable questions to keep you on track at that moment. "What did your face look like before your parents were born?"     Today's episode touches on the current unrest more and more people are feeling. We are feeling a sense of dis-ease with what is going on in the world and there may be an energetic shift associated. It seems that there is a renaissance of getting closer to your higher power whether it is God,  the universe, or spiritual guides and that is an awakening. Yes, we have advanced technologically but have we advanced spiritually? It can be tough and oftentimes crisis is used to realign us back onto our path. Suffering can lead us to awakening. It starts with the individual and radiates out. Please turn off the TV, this can cause division and more suffering as frustration builds up inside. If you are sensitive you will feel it in your body. The forces at be know how to pray on people with lower vibrational frequencies. If the current events are causing you tension, turn off the news. We know enough of what's going on, we do not need to allow these things to consume us. Everything is unfolding the way it is supposed to and happening for a good reason. There's a delicate dance when being present in this "now" moment and feeling safe. If we are being called through a crisis, we are being pushed forward to think of our contribution.     Today's Angel Card Word of the Day is "Understanding" reminding us to act with sincerity and empathy. Kathy sat with Adya up in NorCal and wanted to share. We may worry that in awakening we may not be able to be funny and lose our humanness, or our relationships with others may change due to our growth. We do not have to change who we are to prove that we are awake, we are all just humans and can continue to be just a better version of ourselves. This growth and journey can look differently for everyone. Sit in contemplation with your questions, feel the unified state and embody our spiritual instinct. The resources needed are within ourselves. Once we find the answers we are looking for we may realize we are the same human we were yesterday. When we have a profound experience, rather than attempting to explain it, have a personal connection with that experience. "Sit down, shut up and just be," stop waiting for the answers, they are in you. When we seek something, that inherently means we are looking somewhere outside of ourselves, it is here in you. We cannot resonate with something until we have a personal experience with it to then embody these experiences. Not everyone is ready for these answers so there may be work to be done for you to get to this place of embodiment. There is always a way to get to the same result no matter the path taken.
