The Global Goulets are three NYC-based adventurers who quit their comfortable day jobs to travel the world and capture it on film for TV. Our latest adventure involves a 15,000+ mile drive in a 2001 Nissan Xterra from New York to Tierra Del Fuego, Argentina.
In this podcast we take you along with us for the ride, telling you stories about the places we go and introducing you to the people we meet throughout Latin America.
Join us and drive the world.

Episode 011: Colombia - Benny Goes Goulet
It's been too long. You're looking a little different? Did you lose weight? New hairstyle?
Anyway, in this action packed episode we take you inside a rowdy Colombian futbol game, show you what it's like to be an outsider living the life of a Goulet, and then teach you a few Colombian phrases.
Episode 010: Nicaragua - The Nicaraguan Police Take Alex's License
What happens when you make a wrong turn and end up going the opposite way on a one way street? The police take your license, of course! Well at least in Nicaragua they do. In this podcast we do a deep dive into Alex's multiple journey and attempts to retrieve his license from the police in Managua.
Also, remember, if you're ever lost go siempre recto
Episode 009: Nicaragua - How to Have an Unforgettable Travel Experience
We always find ourselves in the most ridiculous, but amazing, situations. We used to think we were getting lucky and just stumbling across great experiences with a strangely high frequency, but then we realized there's actually kind of a formula that you can follow to increase your chances of having a one-of-a-kind travel experience. In this podcast we teach you that formula.
Thanks to Dan DiSalvio for getting us to think about our process!

Episode 008: Nicaragua - How to Find a Cheap Place to Sleep
How do we spend less than $10 on sleeping accommodations for all three of us combined? In this episode we walk you through a case study in which we find a camping space in the middle of Leon, the second biggest city in Nicaragua.

Episode 007: Honduras - Walter Mejia Interview
In this episode we do something we've never done before. We don't tell any of our stories, but instead let our friend, Walter Mejia, tell his. Walter grew up in Pena Blanca, Honduras but eventually found himself in a gang in San Pedro Sula, the murder capital of the world. After two years in the gang, with the support of a missionary, he found his way out and now spends his days as a birdwatcher, tour guide and reggaeton artist (going by the name of WG).
Check out Walter's Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100007197916509&fref=ts
Make sure to listen all the way through as we have a special request for you at the end!
Episode 006: Guatemala - Lava and Volcano Crater Racing
Ever wonder what it's like to be right next to a Volcano that's erupting, seeing lava launch into the air and feel the ground rumble under your feet? If so, join us on our hike up the twin Volcanoes Acatenango and Fuego.
