Reel Spoilers - Movie Reviews

These guys do a great job discussing movies in a entertaining and insightful manner. They may stray off topic but in a fun and enjoyable way. I have gone back and listened to the Marvel movie discussions for the great way they expand on the characters backstory. I highly recommend “Matt F . Basler presents Reel Spoilers”!

Listening to these guys is like listening to a den of rambunctious baby raccoons vying for the attention of mamma raccoon. What a racket!! But in a good, sweet, adorable way. Frankly, if I haven’t watched the movie they are discussing I have no idea by the end what the entire plot was about. They banter, interrupt each other, digress endlessly, laugh, tease and poke at each other. But I don’t care. I absolutely love them…like listening to siblings in the backyard BBQing a slab of ribs. (Each one would have their own way of doing it, of course.) After about 25 podcasts I realized…if I want a plot, I’ll read Wikipedia. Stay with this podcast and consider yourself warned!! Sometimes your head will spin but they will grow on you and live in that special place in your heart reserved for the important people in your lives!!

They tend to cry about politics a lot but other then that they seem like cool dudes.

What’s up guys Loving the pods, I am a kennel technician at a rescue/boarding organization so my earbuds are protection against the loud barking I am around, so I can technically say your podcast has saved my hearing! Of course I have another horror movie question for Joe, but am also interested in what all of you say concerning the trilogy of the Hatchet movies. I recently watched all three as I’m going back and discovering movies of this genre I never saw growing up, and all I have to say about these is what the 🐓. Are they meant to be a satire on slasher films? Are they dark comedies, or have they turned into that as time as gone by? Like there’s literally a scene where Kane Hodder removes a man’s head during certain bedroom activities and the dudes body just keeps going. Poor girl Anyway would love to hear yall discuss, and if you are ever in San Antonio Texas and need someone to watch your pets I gotchu.
