Sub-par

Trying out all different His Dark Materials podcasts, and this one is not the best. I’d avoid because there are other far superior podcasts on this subject. Also, the volume is off. One person will sound as if far from the mic while the other person sounds really loud. So you are constantly having to adjust your volume and playing back to listen to what was missed. I just listened on highest volume without adjusting for significant length of time, and my ears endured painful moments. I wasn’t impressed with the substance. One person has read the books and the other has not. So there’s an awkward tension. It doesn’t work at all to give the podcast nuance and interesting moments. It’s dull.
