We get to learn about the initial inspiration behind this song and how a year later he decided to rework the lyrics with his co-writer, Kirk Adolph. We also talk about his vocal process as I found this particular vocal to stand out and appreciated how he created dynamics to really bring out the emotion of the lyrics.
