Carolyn Moor faced the unthinkable when a Valentine's date with her husband ended with a tragic accident that left her a widow. Left all alone to raise their two little girls in the wake of this tragedy, Carolyn navigated her grief and the complex challenges of transitioning from wife to widow as best as she could. It was then that she realized the lack of resources and support for the hundreds of thousands of widows in this country.
When she wound up interviewed by Oprah Winfrey as part of a show on recovering from tragedy, Carolyn was inundated with widows asking her for help and accepted the challenge.
Today she is the founder of Modern Widows Club and a beacon of hope for widows across the world.
