About Erika

Erika McCown is a Bible teacher, speaker, and co-founder of Created for Hope, a ministry she and her husband, Maury, built to equip men and women through the Christ-centered Bible studies they author. Erika teaches and encourages women to engage directly with God's Word, read it for themselves, and obey it with understanding and conviction.

She holds a degree in communication from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and continues her theological studies at Southern Evangelical Seminary. In addition to writing studies, she hosts and leads a weekly Bible study and speaks at retreats and conferences.

Passionate about the gospel and living it faithfully, Erika guides women to walk in assurance, confidence, and joy as they follow Christ.
