E199 Be a boundary setting badass Be You Find Happy

    • Mental Health

Me mindset on setting boundaries doesn't lead to successfully maintaining boundaries, whereas a WE mindset does. How do you navigate when someone repeatedly violates your boundaries and what does your values have to do with it? Twins, Jan and Jillian share it all.
Jan Yuhas, M.A., MFT and Jillian Yuhas, MA, MFT, Relationship Coaches and Boundary Experts, help entrepreneurs and executives achieve optimal fulfillment, establish healthy boundaries, and confidently communicate their values to create meaningful relationships in every facet of their lifestyle while achieving personal freedom.

At the beginning of their journey, they realized emotion-based techniques were never going to meet their needs. They went through a culture shock of moving from a rural farm town to a metropolitan city where they learned some hard lessons. They went through relationship hurdles that were unable to fulfill mutual respect. This experience led them to vow to never be in a relationship where they didn't feel heard or understood again. That is when they went from feeling powerless to valuable in their relationships and decided to fulfill their mission. They discovered the solution to being valued personally and professionally and have transformed their lives through their value-based technique - the Boundary Badass Method.

Their passion for helping others began at the early age of 21 when they volunteered at the National Runaway Safeline. During their volunteer experience, they helped mediate high-conflict conversations between parent(s) and their teens who ran away from home. They provided compassionate guidance and solutions to the families in order to work through their challenges and unresolved differences prior to the child returning home. Jan and Jillian’s dedication to volunteer work inspired and fueled their interest to want to help others overcome their relationship struggles, which lead to graduate school in psychology.
