During this episode, Lina reflects on her experiences of growing up in an impoverished Lao/BIPOC community in Rockford, Illinois + overcoming domestic violence + finding inner liberation thru music,  & meeting Lao ancestors for the first time.  
Today, Lina is living the dream by singing/performing on various stages across Los Angeles, as well as building community with hosting events. She also enjoys cheffing it up in the kitchen and cooks SAAP SAAP Lao food and Jamaican oxtail stew.
