In this episode, I want to explain why blogging is probably one of the best marketing and promotion tools for your podcast, period. There are so many different reasons and benefits to blogging about your particular podcast episode at a time period, I talk about a lot of the ways that blogging will help you. 

Even if you are not a fan of blogging or writing large articles, because in order to get your podcast out there. It is best to have at least 15 to 2000 words on your blog posts for each website. There are tools out there that transcribe them for you, like, otter.ai, and some other transcription services. It is an amazing thing to blog and I really hope that you take away all the great ideas in this particular podcast episode. 

If you are into just podcasting, there can be some amazing ways to promote your blog posts like search engine optimization is one of the biggest reasons why you want to have a transcript of your podcast episode, the spoken word from your podcast episode is one of the best ways to create a search engine friendly version of your podcast episodes. And it's really just a matter of taking your audio and importing it in and using one of the amazing services to do the transcription for you. I started doing it with becoming a successful podcaster, and I am enjoying the rewards of getting more traffic back. And this was the way that podcast started back in 2005 When I started the first podcast network on Long Island. And that was where everybody had a blog post, because you get an instant RSS feed.
