It ends??? :(
I’m currently binging this but unfortunately there’s no more after 2021. It’s such a great podcast I’m pretty bummed about it.
CLANG! 10.11.2012 and HABITAT 06.20.2014
CLANG 10.11.2012—
This was a simply FANTASTIC listen! Just awesome! For anyone debating their interest in this pod...Please...
LISTEN. LAUGH. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
Miss Wolfe, your writing here was just seamless! Your dialogue was on-point and completely relatable. From the cute and flirty attitude of the adults at the beginning of the story, to the offhanded but lovingly goofy way that they deal with the whole dilemma, to the awesome family fight scene...I was just entranced. Who knew weaponized five-year-olds (an amazing laugh-out-loud funny line!) could be so darn adorable?
UPDATE: Second review in one day. I’m so impressed with this pod.
HABITAT 06.20.2014—
Mr. Thurkettle your story, Habitat, from June 20, 2014 was...Well, I don’t even know what to call it. It was a touching, lovely, sad, silly fun but almost lonely tale. You have a real talent for character development. Anyone who can make me FEEL for the characters as much as I cared for Danna (great name, by the way) and her Spock-like bestie should be teaching a master class. I haven’t the words to emphasize how much I loved this story and its tiny population. Great work, sir.
UPDATE to my other update: full-disclosure, I’d not quite finished the entirety of HABITAT when I felt moved to pause it and write my earlier thoughts. I’ve just gone back to finish up the last moments and had to come back AGAIN to say...You made me cry (CRY!) and fall a little bit in love with your sweet, unassuming hero. It was so good! Thank you!
