Carol and I sat down for almost an hour and went over the classification of "earth" energy and why it is important and what it is good for and how it differs from "fire" energy and some rants on idiots.

The series continues with a detailed overview of the four classical elements so that we can learn the more complex aspects of astrology quickly and easily. The stress associated with most methods of learning astrology is completely uncalled for. So we amke it easy.

Today Carol and I sat down and discussed the element of Fire and a few new concepts which we will be discussing in *much* more detail over the coming episodes. We sprinkled in some compare and contrast examples of the various elements and talked about the real-life examples of where you find the element of fire, how to understand what the esoteric concept of "fire" is and how to translate it into anything you see in real life. It's been a while since the last episode so Carol and I recapped what we have learned in the first four episodes and tied them to the four elements. This is just a basic primer for elements, as we will cover each element in depth over the next four episodes.

I sat down with Carol and Diana and we spent half an hour discussing mutable energy. In all fairness I did most of the talking as I am the teacher. I do like having my students sitting in as it makes the conversation flow more naturally, and they bring salient points to the discussion. I hope you enjoy this episode. We compared fixed energy to cardinal energy in simple terms and real-life scenarios. We are keeping things basic for a few more episodes so that we do not lose anyone when we jump into the signs. Karen and I sat down to talk about Cardinal energy. It was a pretty relaxed session. In this session and the next two sessions we are going over the "qualities" of energy (cardinal, fixed, and mutable), one per episode. There is no sense trying to cram it all in at once. It is better to focus on these building blocks now and when we start incorporating them into the more complex structures they will make much more sense. Again, no pressure, no stress. You can do this.
