Jenée Libby is a writer of food, fiction, travel, and essay. She’s obsessed with vintage cookbooks and diners, adores brunch with cocktails, prefers barefoot picnics to fine dining, and believes biscuits with honey to be a cure-all. Her spirit animals are Larry Bly and Laban Johnson from the legendary show, “Cookin’ Cheap”. She is not a chef or a foodie. Just someone who loves to cook, eat, travel, and write about it all. Hopefully, she won't piss off too many people. But then that wouldn't be any fun, would it?

Wow

I'm new to Charlottesville and I love food, wine and talking about food and wine, so this seemed right up my alley. But I listened to the August 15, 2017 episode entitled "Charlottesville Community Magic" first -- and I realized this podcast was about a lot more than just that. So now I'm downloading all of them and plan to binge-listen. Thanks Jenee! I think you perfectly captured the sentiments of (hopefully) most of us this week, and you have certainly earned yourself another fan (though I know that was not your intent).

Learning all kinds of stuff

Even though my palate is hardly discerning, it's great to get educated about some of the ins and outs of food sourcing, preparation, and service in central Virginia through Jenee's thoughtful interviews.

Great podcast BUT....

Would it be possible to either Miss Libby mix the podcast down to a "Mono" format or use one mic to combine the voices?
The one speaker/one ear thing sounds kinda weird.
other than that production issue, great podcast.
