Green Light at the Red Sea
Been listening for 5 years now and felt compelled to finally write a review after listening to the Green Light sermon. The message spoke so specifically to my current heart struggles (feeling stagnant, fearful, feeling sorry for myself, blaming others despite having an amazing opportunity in front of me), I took notes and then just had to pause in worship. I’m filled with gratitude. The prophetic word he released at the end, I received as if I was standing in front of him. The miracle is not in my feelings but in my feet. It’s exactly what I needed. In fact, many of Steve’s messages have spoken directly to my situation or struggle in eerie ways over the years, helping my family and I thru dark times and painful seasons. He’s got a way of making you feel seen but then also calling you out and lifting you up. I see a lot of critical comments from the Reformed camp on the podcast reviews, I wish they’d stop trolling so much. I’m a pastor on hiatus and theologically reformed but I just want to say that I’ve been abundantly blessed by Ps Steve over the years. Keep it up Elevation team and Steve! Many reformed guys think they have a monopoly on preaching and that there’s only one correct way to proclaim God’s word. I’m afraid such a dogmatic mindset can deafen you from hearing God speak, disciple, and edify you thru men/women of God he’s anointed. It’s their loss.
My Redeemer Lives episode
I am in a very low place in my life. A 7 year friendship is ending and I’m heartbroken. After speaking to my sister in Christ, she suggested I spend the day worshiping and praising Christ. I turned to my Elevation Church podcast and just started listening. This particular episode up lifted my heart. When Lisa said if we would look up from the pit we will see Jesus more clearly than ever before and we would not fear pain. I know this pain I feel about my friendship ending is for my good. He will continue to walk with me. Thank you Lisa Harper for your encouraging message. And thank you Elevation Church for being a resource for my walk with God.
Can’t get enough
A friend just told me about this podcast and I went to the beginning and can’t stop listening!!!!
