Elizabeth - True Colours hairdresser from Port Melbourne Radical Consciousness & Cleansing

    • Alternative Health

This week on my Podcast Radical Consciousness and Cleansing with Suzy Wilson, I'm talking with Elizabeth, a Hairdresser from True Colours, Port Melbourne.

Some say that the hairdresser is the unpaid counsellor, seeing people regularly, often over years sharing parts of their journey with their hairdresser.

Elizabeth, who owns True Colours and her salon in Port
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia has seen generations of families, all sharing their highs and lows.

With a global lockdown in recent years which saw Melbourne have one of the longest lockdowns in the world, Elizabeth is now re-building her business but is also seeing others coming out wondering how to rebirth themselves.

This journey is taking her back to traditional ways of
Calabra, Southern Italy, where she spent the first 8 years of her life, remembering remedies and the importance of community for health.

Join us for our conversation as we share some insights and laughs about immigration, cancer, COVID rebuilding and resilience. Noting the importance and
connection of gut health and mental health.
