Ellen Atkins – Yes, Transformation Can Be Playful Too Dream Power Radio

    • Alternative Health

I admit it. When I speak about making meaningful changes in your life to bring more success, self-confidence and self-awareness, I tend to say it can be a difficult road to follow. Change can be hard, especially when your growth is met with resistance from family and friends. You may second guess your commitment to truly seeking out your Dream Life.

But it doesn’t always have to be this way and my guest this week is proof of that. Ellen Atkins was a successful CPA for nearly three decades when she had a nagging feeling that something was missing from her life. She quit her job and went from the security of that well-paying position into the great unknown of rediscovering her purpose and passion in life. In describing her journey she tells us how she:
•dealt with her family’s reaction to her new outlook
•found joy outside the corporate world
•created a new business that brings joy to others

Sometimes it’s hard to imagine your own transformation until you get a glimpse of how others managed to do it. Hear Ellen’s powerful story on this edition of Dream Power Radio.

Ellen Atkins made it her mission to discover what made her happy after she left the security of her full time job. This search led her to create Syd, a big laughing monk statue with a thumbs-up and open palm, and her business The Suburban Monk, which now provides Syds in all sizes and colors for spiritual lovers everywhere.
