Every Tuesday and Friday, tech journalist Kara Swisher and NYU Professor Scott Galloway offer sharp, unfiltered insights into the biggest stories in tech, business, and politics. They make bold predictions, pick winners and losers, and bicker and banter like no one else. After all, with great power comes great scrutiny. From New York Magazine and the Vox Media Podcast Network.

Pivot away from Elon
-1 дн.
I’ve been listening to this show since day 1. It’s lost its way. “A show about tech and politics” It’s now about 4 people in big tech and bickering about conservatives. They used to have great guests but seem to have steered away from that and instead we get to hear more about rich Scott doing rich guy stuff. Their obsession with Elon will be the end of it for me.
Mostly sensible.

Pretty good. Sometimes cringy, which if you're a person with a brain living in today's world you need a little just to make it through the day. Both say interesting and spot on things about the interaction between high tech and present day politics. I don't agree with it all and I don't like it all but on the whole, they are useful. I do not trust the corporate elite but I'm invested so it helpful info.
Great Podcast but…

This podcast is great and I love their dynamic, I just wish Kara would let Scott finish his points more without interrupting.
Principles before personalities, verbs over pronouns

The latest episode: What children need is care/attention/supervision and representation. I think you guys are talking about two different things. Care, attention and supervision are obviously more important to a developing child. If you look at the numbers, having two parents will likely provide more of this. Income and resources also inform the availability of these qualities of care for one’s child. Representation matters. Boys need representation too. Not only in a symbolic way but in relationships. It doesn’t mean that they need a male/father but this could be the most available source of support in this way. If not, having male role models (in the context of your conversation) just like females, trans, gays, whatever is helpful. Everyone likes to see themselves reflected in others. My point is that it’s more about principles/needs/actions/relationship dynamics than it is about demographics/identities/personalities.
