#115 Easy ways to make your website more accessible & user friendly
In this episode I am walking you through some free and fairly simple ways in which you can make your website easier to access and navigate. This matters because it helps build more inclusive digital spaces, but it also saves time, is more eco-friendly and makes it easier to make connections and grow your business.

#114 I made it to year 10 - so what makes a business resilient?
In this episode I am talking honestly about what helped me feel resilient & confident in my work, about things I had to learn the hard way and about how it all comes down to wearing "elevated lounge wear" every day. I name 10 specific things that made all the difference when it comes to weathering the ups and downs of building and running a small business - I hope they will be helpful for you too.

#113 How having too many offerings might harm your business
In this episode I'm talking about four different ways I have often seen, in my own and other people's businesses, that too many offerings can actually be harmful to your success (of your own understanding!). Absolutely no shame if you are, like me, so excited about all the things and ideas and projects you could be working on - this is just a space to think through wether cutting back a little might feel good.

#112 Thoughts on running a social media free business in 2024
In this episode I'm talking about why I still feel glad not to be on social media, what I am doing to build & nurture community around my work this year and what I wish all of us would remember when we're feeling overwhelmed, not good enough or irrelevant while the world is on fire.
I hope this episode feels like a nice sounding board to check on on your own decisions around the use of technology.

#111 How to make a sustainable content map for 2024
Are you someone who shares on social media, writes newsletters or has a podcast? I hope this episode will give you some inspiration and ideas for creating a supportive structure around your content strategy. I am sharing three key questions I think we all need to address and then I am sharing how I practically map out my year, what I do or don't schedule and how I make space for launches as well as downtime.
Here are the custom web design packages I mentioned: https://pinkwellstudio.com/webdesign/

#110 Is a membership, Patreon or subscription right for your business?
In this episode I am sharing about the benefits, downsides and key considerations for a membership, subscription or Patreon model as part of your business. I have offered a Patreon for over five years and facilitated the livelihood community for over four years, so there are also plenty of insights I gathered along the way in here!

Spirit Guide for Ethical Business Practices
I first heard Yarrow in an interview on Making Conversation and had to learn more after the discussion about disengaging from social media, especially as an entrepreneur. I am just starting my own business and discovering the Embodied Business Podcast has been a guiding light. I've listened to every episode from the beginning and played many episodes at least a dozen times because they are like treasure chests filled with gems I keep uncovering. It's not (just) that this podcast is packed with amazingly practical, grounded advice for starting and running a business in the digital age, it's that it's anchored in an ethical, compassionate, inclusive, expansive viewpoint that has been invaluable in helping me think creatively and holistically about the foundations of my business. From marketing practices and language to pricing strategies, Yarrow and the Embodied Business Podcast have become a sort of spirit guide to integrating ethical systems in every aspect of my business while at the same time giving me a permission I didn't realize I sought to to believe in my approach. With deepest gratitude, thank you, Yarrow.
Like the voice of an eternally supportive friend.
I have never met Yarrow, but took a class from them on the Making App and knew when I heard they had a podcast that I would binge all their back episodes.
Sometimes all we need in the potentially lonely position of doing things differently is to know that someone has our back. Even if that someone is an ocean away. This podcast is for all fellow visionaries interested in living their lives out loud.
Such a lovely, calming podcast
This podcast feels like a warm cup of hot apple cider on a crisp autumn day. Yarrow offers wisdom and so much generosity in this podcast. I’m grateful to have found others who care about creating sustainable, nourishing business practices, and both the solo episodes and the interviews hold so much thought-provoking information. Thanks Yarrow for putting out such a heart-centered podcast.
