Embodying Forgiveness - September 18, 2022 - Rev. Juan Carlos Heurtas - Sermon First-Plymouth Church's Podcast

The journey of forgiveness begins with our willingness to tell our story and to hear the story of the other that we have hurt or harmed but it does not end there. In order for healing to take place we must be willing to live into the uncomfortableness of hearing how our actions or inactions have harmed the other, at times in heartbreaking detail. It is only when the harm has been spoken, sometimes over and over again, that healing can continue in the other, in ourselves, and in the world.
