Luca Carducci is an Entrepreneur, Full-Stack Developer, and CEO @ Skaffolder.

For seven years, he worked in a big enterprise company in Italy, creating big projects for banks, insurances and public ministries. David was selected to participate in an entrepreneurial program in the US with Tech Ranch together with other Mexican entrepreneurs.

Sushni Tumu is a Digital Product Manager at Snap Kitchen, focused on making eating healthy a fun, simple and effortless process. She specializes in combining business, technology, and design to create a product that is valuable, feasible and usable. Previously she was a product manager at Charles Schwab and worked on several consumer mobile products.

As CEO and Founder of Product School, Carlos leads a growing team of instructors and employees dedicated to training the next generation of product managers across 16 campuses worldwide. He is also the author of The Product Book and a frequent speaker at technology industry events.
Carlos founded three companies in the education space and has 8 years of experience building teams and digital products in Europe, Latin America and the U.S. Prior to founding Product School, he was the lead instructor at a Bay Area technology education company, where he was responsible for curating course content and teaching product management. He also served as co-founder and CEO at Floqq (invested in by 500Startups), the biggest marketplace for online courses in Latin America, where he oversaw engineering, design and marketing efforts, including branding, product development, demand and supply generation, communications, fundraising, and international expansion.
 
Earlier in his career, Carlos worked as a product marketing manager at Involver (acquired by Oracle), a startup that created the world’s largest social marketing platform and held positions as a software engineer and project manager for several small- and medium-sized brands.
He earned a Computer Science Degree and a Management Engineering Degree in Spain, and a Certificate in Global Business Management and Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley. He’s fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.

In this episode, I interviewed Youssef Chaker, founder of Bear & Giraffe, a software development firm that focuses heavily on Diversity & Inclusion. Youssef has experience working with several startups and has supported many companies in Austin as fractional CTO. In the interview, we talked about his experience moving to the US and working in the tech industry. Youssef shared how he is helping women and minorities starting careers in tech and how is planning to create an tech ecosystem where women and minorities feel comfortable working.

Tulsi initially moved from India to the US to work with Microsoft on a consulting project. Since then, she has had an incredible career. Tulsi is a very interesting person who has made continuous learning a priority in her life and now is working to make learning & talent development a priority for Verb’s customers. Her story is even more impressive since she is an immigrant woman and had to deal with so many challenges that both women and minorities face in the tech industry.
