In episode 3 we speak with Emiko. Originally from Australia she grew up as a child and adolescent in China and is now raising her two girls aged 5 and 11 in the hills of Tuscany in Italy.
Food writer, photographer and the author of 6(!) cookbooks including her latest Gohan: Everyday Japanese Cooking: Memories and Stories from my Family’s Kitchen she also runs Enoteca Marilu with her husband Marco in their village of San Miniato, where they host food and wine classes and seasonal culinary workshops.
Her Substack, Notes from Emiko’s Kitchen, is a delightful collection of recipes, interviews, travel notes and think pieces.
