Identify your Money Operating System and what's keeping you stuck financially
Our guest this week on the Empowered Women Show is a financial coach, a money-mindset expert and experienced wealth manager with over 15 years experience. She is also a TedX speaker and has featured regularly in US national media, including Forbes magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and the NBC Evening News in Silicon Valley.
HILARY HENDERSHOTT loves what she does, but that hasn't always been the case. A corporate job in high tech marketing left her feeling depressed and on the verge of tears at the end of each day. An overwhelming desire to loose the ceiling that was her corporate job and the perceived freedom of entrepreneurship pushed her to take the leap.
While working as a financial advisor in her parents' wealth management firm, Hilary saw that there was something very large missing from the conversations around money. She found that, especially among women, money mindset and money psychology were not often talked about or considered as a factor in wealth management and future financial wellbeing. With this in mind, she started her business Hilary Hendershott Financial, helping women (and men) to understand and change their money mindset, empowering them to become financially successful.
Hilary shares her journey with us along with some of her tips and tricks on how you can change your money mindset.
How a busy mum of 3 built 3 successful online businesses
This week's guest on the Empowered Women Show works with entrepreneurial women across the globe, she enables them to grow their business by helping them escape the 'white noise' to find clarity in their direction. And she does this all while juggling three children under the age of five!
A former 'Jill of all trades', our guest has over 20 years experience as a corporate PA, where she was involved with corporate events management, HR management, and office management.
However, self-sabotaging behaviour held her back from her dream for over 6 years, she worked in a job she hated held back only by a fear of failure. But after falling pregnant with her second child only days before returning to work from maternity leave, she took the leap and resigned from her job. At 40 years old, her positive 'you are never too old to learn' mentality was a driving force.
ANNE CLARKE is now a very successful Business and Life Coach, and a Virtual Assistant.
This 'corporate gal' turned entrepreneur is a strong believer that when you are doing what you love you deliver your best, regardless of your circumstances. In her busy life, she has learnt the importance of 'going with the flow' and not getting stressed over things outside her control.
Anne shares her nuggets of wisdom and experience, juggling motherhood and business and offers some very valuable advice. Listen in now.
The rollercoaster journey of a former shy girl turned successful entrepreneur
Welcome back to the Empowered Women Show. This week's guest overcame extreme shyness to become an international award-winning graphic designer and successful entrepreneur.
At only seven years old, CATHY BROADWELL took to her mother's collection of self-help books in a attempt to make friends. She's come a long way since then. After graduating from school and college (with a degree in graphic design), she climbed the corporate ladder, and landed the prestigious title of Creative Director at a full service ad agency. She loved her job very much, until one day she didn't. Laser eye surgery to fix her sight left her with a reinvigorated sense of purpose and after ongoing frustrations at work, Cathy took a calculated risk and quit her job. She went on to start her own, very successful design business which has thrived and while she admits that it was one of the scariest things she has ever done, she is a strong believer in overcoming your fears to find what truly makes you happy. She has lived her entire life pushing the boundaries of her comfort zone, determined to have fun and be more outgoing and confident.
Where once she was filled with fear, she is now filled with excitement for what the future holds.
Listen to learn more about Cathy's rollercoaster journey to success.

Step out of the shadows - and find your own way to shine
“You need to be more outgoing. Louder. More energetic. You need to seem happier in your job.”
That’s the kind of feedback our guest this week was always getting. For ten years she worked her butt off. Fought to fit in. Tried so hard to be something she’s not. But it never got easier.
Every day she’d come home from her stressful TV production job feeling exhausted. Resentful. Burned out.

Casey is a great host, and runs a really informative show. She picks out great guests and is really engaging. Great podcast.
Removing one star because the sound quality is not good. Voices are very shallow and sounds like a conference call with everyone on speaker
Inspiring and I can’t get enough of Casey’s enthusiasm!
Whenever I notice fear taking over and stopping me from taking action that will further my business I watch Casey’s show.
